She may not be pretty, but she has style, said her fellow students about Iris when she was studying art history in New York. Even as a child, she experienced the fascination of fashion and design in her parents' boutique. She confidently embodied this fascination with beauty from an early age. And made it her profession. As a journalist, author, model, exhibition organizer and advisor to nine presidents, for whom she brought color, shine and flair to the White House as an interior designer. Style is not a question of age, she lived and worked by this motto her entire life.
