Konrad has to write an essay about the South Seas. Luckily, he can ask his crazy Uncle Ringelhuth for help, who has a solution for every problem. And indeed, the uncle promptly takes his nephew on an adventurous journey to the South Seas. A talking circus horse on roller skates accompanies them. All nonsense? Not on May 35th, because on that day, you shouldn't be surprised if all sorts of strange things happen to you.

Konrad muss einen Aufsatz über die Südsee schreiben. Zum Glück kann er seinen verrückten Onkel Ringelhuth um Hilfe bitten, der für jedes Problem eine Lösung weiß. Und tatsächlich: Der Onkel nimmt seinen Neffen kurzerhand mit auf eine abenteuerliche Reise in die Südsee. Ein sprechendes Zirkuspferd auf Rollschuhen begleitet sie. Alles Quatsch? Nicht am 35. Mai, denn an diesem Tag darf man sich nicht wundern, wenn einem allerhand kuriose Dinge zustoßen.
