In the syllabified spelling exercise book for class 2, all of the focal points of spelling for the grade level are presented as independent topics, methods for solving them are introduced, spelling is trained using tasks and the learning status is checked at the end of each topic with a dictation master. For each dictation there is an easy variant, which only deals with the current spelling topic, and a more difficult variant, which also deals with the previous spelling topics. Additional "Deutsch-Bonbons" pages offer special tasks such as puzzles, secret writing and games. The tried-and-tested sticker reward system is an additional incentive for the children: for each page they work on, the child can stick a sticker in a hidden object. The solution booklet for quick self-assessment can be detached with a flick of the wrist.
