IT'S OUR FUTURE!Twelve-year-old Mary Kate has a lot on her plate: she recently became an aunt, her best friend Lucy has a strange illness, and her favorite teacher is running for mayor. Then there's the matter of the climate, which is getting warmer and no one seems to care. Luckily there is her teacher Mr Lu, who is founding a climate club at the school, and together they are organizing a big environmental project. But the current mayor is opposed. It only helps to fall back on tried-and-true methods, and luckily Mary Kate knows how to start a podcast from her friend Molly. Because if you really want to change something, you have to raise your voice!

ES IST UNSERE ZUKUNFT!Die 12-jährige Mary Kate hat viel um die Ohren: Sie ist vor kurzem Tante geworden, ihre beste Freundin Lucy hat eine merkwürdige Krankheit, und ihre Lieblingslehrerin will als neue Bürgermeisterin kandidieren. Außerdem ist da noch die Sache mit dem Klima, das sich immer weiter erwärmt und für das sich niemand zu interessieren scheint. Zum Glück gibt es ihren Lehrer Mr Lu, der an der Schule einen Klima-Klub gründet, und gemeinsam organisieren sie ein großes Umwelt-Projekt. Doch der aktuelle Bürgermeister stellt sich quer. Da hilft es nur, auf altbewährte Mittel zurückzugreifen, und glücklicherweise weiß Mary Kate von ihrer Freundin Molly, wie man einen Podcast startet. Denn wenn man wirklich etwas verändern will, muss man seine Stimme erheben!
